OMGHi2U Can someone school me on NASCAR?

We got a contract to fly for NASCAR a few weeks ago (hence why I'm at work right now) and since then it has been a non stop barrage of emails with the headings of NNS, Cup, Cup B, Truck/NNS A, NSCS, NCTS, etc..

Does anyone know what these stand for (different series I assume) and what the difference between them is?

NNS = Nascar Nationwide Series

TS = Truck Series
NCTS = Nascar Craftsman Truck Series

NSCS = Nascar Sprint Cup Series

I am by no means a fan of Nascar so don't ask me if this is correct.

Good call. But what is the difference between NNS and NSCS?

I don't want to read through the site to figure it out.

The Nationwide series (formally known as the Busch series) has slightly different rules with tire usage and engines, and chassis, to attempt to keep costs down ... but is generally considered like the minors are in basball

For those brief seconds of excitement you only had to watch 258.4 hours of cars making left turns.

...or right turns. There is ALOT that goes into a NASCAR race; is FAR harder than people give it credit for.....though despite that, it still often puts me to sleep.

I will agree that getting that much chewing tobacco, budweiser and coors light into a single location at one time is far more difficult than people might imagine.

Don't feel too bad. The new F1 rules are making that one just as bad.

LOL .. yep. But I live about 20 minutes from Dover, so I think I'm allowed a slight opinion on the topic.

I would never say that you aren't allowed an opinion...I just think you are mistaken. That's all.

OMGHi2U

We made it to Daytona safely, 1 hour and 36 minute flight. I'm already home.

I went to a race back in 2000, and it was definately way more fun than watching it on tv.

Fixed.

If it's so easy ask a few of the world champs and great drivers why they are watching it on TV today. Namley Villenueve, Said and Carpentier.
