Default To buy or not to buy?

Ok, there is a chance that I can get this thing warrantyed out I've been told. It may not be the clutch at all, could be the plate or disc or just the throw out bearing. But this is my situatuion. We really won't know until they open her up, if its not warrentyed out then I gotta pay lost of money, it could just be a throwout bearing or it could be the whole clutch. I could buy the whole clutch assembley and BPM flywheel from somewhere else for about half the price than Subaru would give it to me for and have them put it in. But then again, if I buy everything than it turns out that its is going to be warrentyed out, I just wasted my money..... in a way. I could just wait and see if anything is going to be warrentyed out but then it would take 5 days for all my stuff to come in, then I gotta pay the $30 for 5 days for a rent car. Screwed either way I think......... what do you think i should do?

If you give them the parts and it's covered by warranty, will they install the new parts for free?

Whenever I've got a tranny pulled, I replace everything to avoid labor in the future of a stupid seal or something. Being low mileage, that might not be an issue, but if you want a better clutch and they'll cover labor, I would do it, since it sounds like you would want to install it anyway if it's not covered.
