A cop talked to me about not having a front plate, and I really don't care. I hate the way the car looks with the front plate.. ugh.. Place it on your dash! lol...

I hate them sometimes..

It will not affect your License at all. just your pocketbook a bit...

We need to make a James Bond kit that hides the front plate, unless a cop comes along, then you press a button which flips the plate down form it's hiding place.

No problem

For the front plate, you'll see dimples in the bumper. Use a self-tapping screw in that dimple. The holes that are in the bumper are for inserts that don't fit Alaska plates.

You can also get those suction cups with hooks to hold your plate on the inside of the windshield.

Cool

some dumb kids who smoke across the school were walkin too slow when i was about to pass, so after they walked across, i took off but i didn't break the speed limit, and the cop gettin ready to turn happend to notice that i have a rear plate but not a front. so he told me to get the front one on soon and next time he sees me without one i'll get a ticket.

Your car is legal except for the plates. You shoulda just to him to "shut da faack up and give me the ticket. Go back to your parking space with your donut, waste some taxpayers money with your uselessness and stare at some underage girls."

The plate gives them a reason to pull you over. Hopefully, you've been a good boy and there isn't anything else they can bust you on. I carry mine next to the seat in case they feel jumpy. I'll just tell them it fell off and I haven't had a chance to replace it. Winslow

if you don't want to drill two more holes in the bumper, then drill them into the plate to match the existing holes

Great idea. Where did you get the plastic inserts? I've looked at a few local places and can't find them. I can find the square kind but not the round ones.

Default Front Plate

I am working on a plastic bracket that fits the current holes in the bumper and a US plate so when I get pulled over I can put it on after that. I will keep you guys informed.

I almost have my plastic plate mount refined. another week or two and I should have a viable solution that fits into those factory holes. I will try to have it complete for the March meet so I can show you guys.

what do your plates look like? What about mounting the plate in the bumper off to the left or right, there are holes all along the bupmer.

Guys, I have the answer to all your problems.....DUCT TAPE.

Just tape that bad boy on there, and when you want to show off the car, just pull the plate right off.
