Default 2014 Subaru Forester in Deep Cherry Pearl

SOA Blog,

A few dealers have 2014 Subaru Forester in Deep Cherry Pearl color. Why is this not listed on your website? Is this a limited run like Brilliant Brown Pearl 2013 Outback?

Default Question 4 SOA

Is there a appeal process for warranty denial and is there a formal way to lodge a complaint against a dealer to SOA and or World HQ ?

SOA Blog,

I haven't been following forums, sorry if it was asked or if this information is out already.

Is subaru making a 6spd gearbox for the N/A 2.0 impreza?
If so, would the 2014 or 2015 2.0i impreza have it?

Looking to replace my G35x in under a year.

Thanks.

2014 WRX/STI are not changing, it will be the same car as the 2013 MY. IT will not be until atleast the 2015 MY WRX/STI in which we will have a new model.

Have they released a date for when they will be opening up ordering?

Default "Mature" WRX

Will there be any plans for either a new LGT or a WRX in the guise of the "Saab" 05-06 9-2x Aero? Essentially a WRX with more sound deadening, better materials, and less "boy racer." Nothing mechanically different and requiring great validation, just a trim level and body cladding difference.

I, like many owners, have gotten older (those of us who got our first WRX when we were 16-24), am well into the business world, and want to drive a WRX, but one styled and trimmed for the enthusiast who has moved on from sweatshirts to suits. If I could get WRX dynamics in a package you can take to go golfing with clients I would buy it for my new/replacement daily driver in a heart beat. No obscene, unnecessary luxury features, just the guise of maturity, lower NVH, and no rattles for 2-3K more (a limited trim with toned down exterior and upscale interior beyond seats would be perfect).

I love my 335is for fun drives, but for rain, snow, backroads, freeways, and everything in between I love my 9-2x so much I have just continued holding off on the hope Subaru would bring a similar trim to the WRX.

What you need is a Legacy GT.

Oh, right, they don't sell them here anymore.

The 2014 Forester XT includes many of your suggestions. Unfortunately, they forgot to lower the suspension.

I know this probably won't be answered. Are there plans to bring the Levorg to the US?

It's a good thing they don't put the model name on the front of cars, or everyone would see "grovel" in their rear-view mirror. Name it something else, and it'll sell here.

What's up with the Crossover 7 Concept? It looks to be an Outback-ified Exiga. Is that coming here to the US? Tribeca buyers probably won't bite on it, but Outback buyers might. I suppose Outback is selling well enough that an Exiga Outback could sell well too. I'm just not in the market for anything like that.

If no bigger Tribeca comes along in the next few years, I'll be saving for a Tesla Model X. They should have the south-east Supercharger network built out by then.

SOA,

Will you be bringing any of the pre-production 2015 WRX's to the Sno*Drift rally in Michigan in January? I think that would be a really good idea. And I'd greatly appreciate you letting me take it for a spin on the super special stage

This, I'd love to bring my son to Boston for the show, but will wait for NYIAS if there's no WRX in Boston

As the Boston Auto Show is put on by regional dealers, it is part of Subaru of New England (SNE) which has nothing to do with SOA. SNE is an independent distributor and deals directly with FHI/SOJ not SOA. Maybe call SNE HQ in Norwood, MA (781) 769-5100.

I think I had heard that New England is a distributor for SOA, not FHI.

No. Subaru of New England, Subaru Distribution Corp (NY and NNJ) and Subaru Hawaii are all indepently owned distributors for FHI/SOJ. Ernie Boch Jr owns SNE. They have nothing to do with SOA, to the point that they are charged a higher Destination Charge bc SOA is upset that the individual owners will not sell to SOA to be one nationwide company.

SOA, do the non-hybrid versions of the 2014 XV Crosstrek include any of the improved sound deadening improvements made to the Crosstrek hybrid version (thicker windshield glass, thicker floor pan, etc.)

One news article that I saw says that the non-hybrid models would get the improvements for MY2014, and another article says that they will appear in MY2015. The www.cars101.com web site says that the 5-speed manual Crosstrek models get under hood sound insulation blanket that has been standard on the CVT versions.

Congrats on the 2015 Legacy release. Is the PZEV badge discontinued, merely missing on this particular pre-production model, or is the 2015 2.5i no longer PZEV?

Also, any photos you can share showing the ivory interior? Or the LED taillights illuminated?

This is interesting, is there any chance SNE would bring the Levorg without SOA's participation? That is assuming the car has passed all safety and emission regulations.

I mean Ernie Boch has all those great commercials .... "Yea he's got it!!!! Ernie Boch Jr, YEA!"

The cost of bringing it up to spec may be prohibitive. Wouldn't hurt to ask though.

I thought FHI is the one that started buying all the distributorships. SOA is owned by FHI, isn't it?
