Question Will Will Stock Wrx wheels clear REAR Sti Brembos?

I've searched... dunno if anyone has tried and obviously the rear brembos are much smaller than the fronts(rotors and calipers). I'm wondering if stock 02 wrx wheels(16x6.5) will clear just the sti rear brembos(dba wrx front's for now, just doing the rear brembo conversion for the rear diff as it's needed for the swap). Looking at doing a 6 speed swap and need to know if I'll need to add new wheels to the retarded price tag.

12.7" diameter front rotor 12.3" diameter rear rotor. I still don't think they will clear. I'm looking at my STi and the BBS wheels just clear.

The wheel barely clears the ROTOR alone. The caliper will hit the inside of the wheel, even if it doesn't hit the spokes.

It's going to be real close! If it works.

I just did a finger check with my car and there is just over 1/2" caliper clearence to the stock BBS rim's ID. No promises on this one. You are right find someone to do a test fit with.

04 sti's are 5 x 100 bolt pattern...

05+ sti's are 5x114.3

all year wrx's 02+ are 5x100(unless they've changed in 08, but regardless)

I found a local guy who's gonna test fit some wrx wheels on his car.. I'll post up pictures and the answer here soon.

I thought it would be close. My fat fingers don't lie. (The BBS rims are clearenced for the front.) Too bad though.
