Exclamation Help! No interior lights, no radio, no alarm, no temp sensor; NOT fuses

Car has been on jack stands for 2 weeks while I got parts powder coated and added some more goodies.

About a week ago, I was in the car taking apart the dash so I could mount my cb radio. In the middle of it, the interior dome lights died. Damn. Got a flash light, finished, and just thought the battery was dead.

Fast forward a week... turn the car to the on position. To my suprise, the gauges start up and dash lights go on.

Try and turn on the radio... doesn't work
Click on and off the interior lights... no good
Look to see how damn cold it is in the garage... nothing
Click the remote... nada

On top of all this, there is a wine in the engine bay. Sounds near the alternator. I don't know.

Checked fused: all good.

Car runs and drives. Albeit really rough the first couple minutes around the block.

What could this possibly be? I recharged the battery. Could it be toast? Bad alternator? Bad ground? A short somewhere?

Dealer is of no help. Please help me out nasioc!

Thanks for your responses,
Zack

You most likely blew a fuse. Recheck all the fuses in the dash panel and in the panel under the hood. For so many things not to work it has to be a fuse or a connector problem.

Gauge cluster will turn on. (has a big delay in start up) Temp gauge works now. Nothing else does.

If you car will start then it's most likely not the battery or the alternator. Most likely just the circuitry around your gauges. Where did you tap the connections for the gauges? What other things were done to your car recently?

Please be more specific as it will help to narrow down the possibilities.

this is EXACTLY the problem i was having when I blew a fuse under the dash, not the radio one, I believe the fuse all the way on the right in the middle row (kind of a stab because its late and im not getting out of bed to check).
I would be very suprised if it wasn't this fuse, and if not its got to be the wiring in that circuit.
