Default 2006 STi 91oct + Meth Tune

This is the same Mainline Dynolog that Easystreet use to have. If any of you remember i dyno'd 350whp on it before with my 2.2L, 60lbm turbo and a 30-40 shot oh naws. that setup trapped 115mph.

Jon was the best. Took his time to fabricate me some brackets for my 12L Spec C tank to mount in the trunk. The fabrication needed to be done since i have my Audio Integrations amp rack in there and it was in the normal mounting spot. I will snap some shots of it tommorrow.

There is no way you made that much power I call BS

The meth kit install looks awesome. I can't wait to get back so I can go for a ride. If you need a DD let me know. I'm glad it's all done and now you have an exta meth kit for the bugeye

How much "alcohol" was consumed for the tune?

yup yup. +5psi and +6* of timing from the pump gas tune. ^^Added baseline plot to first post. It was after the 70mm was scaled and on wastegate boost.

log. I reduced the WGDC by 2% and took out 1-3* of timing from ~3500 to redline. Trying to be safe since i got tuned at sea level and i live at 3000ft. I will slowly start adding them back (which in ron terms means that for the first change i'll probably add 5% WGDC and 4* of timing and see what happens )

Timing and boost are smooth as a baby's but....i guess the 38mm ext gates dont suck after all.

The logs look good. Timing looks smooth. AFR is smooth and boost is smooth. However there are two noticable dips at 4500 and 5500 rpm on the graph. Post the AVCS logs so we can see what the cams are doing. Everything looks great on the tune and Jon did a good job!

the avcs starts tapering at 4500. 5300 is where wsgtdc starts to taper.

It looks good but I think with some fine tuning you can get those dips out. Also I think you can get the extreme end of your power band up a bit. The tune looks solid and smooth. You cant feel the dips on the road anyways! Nice Spec C tank man. Where did you buy it? I need to order one.

Well the thing is I dont have a AF Gauge installed (i have one thats been sitting in my garage for 3 months) so if its a fueling issue I cant fix it. And I dont have any experience with the AVCS. I guess I can try varying the AVCS in that spot since its only 2-4 cells, but I have no way to know if its removing the dips.
The only measure of power i have back home is airboys spreadsheet. And as for the wsgtdc I did that when i removed the 2%.

Yeah I dont notice the dips on the street. Its pretty hard to notice anything with the external gate blaring and the aquamist gauge blinding me.

You'll have to ask jon about the spec c tank.....but i think he picked it up at harman.

I really like Jon and Im really happy with his work. He could have thrown my tank in the trunk really quickly and done a half ass intall, but instead he took the mounting brackets, cut and welded them, and spent several hours on it getting it to fit just right. Also he let me watch everything he was doing during the tune. I had a blast.

If you are logging with enginuity (romraider) then log Manifold Relative Pressure Direct.

This will go a bit higher then the 23.36 psi you are showing. You will have to subtract atmospheric pressure from your result though.

Cool. I will catch Jon on AIM and ask him about the tank. I am gong to put the SMC or Cooling mist kit in my car and I need that tank

Email me the logs on the road when you get time. I can tell if its the cams causing that dip and I will fix it or tell you how. That is if you even want to mess with it. Like you said you can feel it.

are they the "intake VVT" ones? just those and rpm?

My butt dyno is only accurate to +-8hp, these dips are clearly +-5hp just a little outside of my accuracy.
