PWN3D Gas Prices up Again? (OFFICIAL MAIC "whine about gas prices" thread)

I just went to a gas station in rockville and pumped 3.11 for 93. Seems like the prices have been going up for the last few months.

Anybody pumping higher than 3.11 per gallon?

The gas station near D&B in md is probably 3.25 for 93 they are always 10-20 cents higher than any where else in the area.

I understand that prices go up in the summer but damn! it jumped like .20 in two weeks here...
It's still doesn't make sense to me why its so high *thinks back on the gas companies annual earnings report...*

Well to be fair, it is not summer yet and prices were 'supposed' to be about normal in the winter after the spike (katrina, et. al). I think the prices will go up everywhere by the end of the week and if that is true would you really consider the gas prices normal?

If we are to see a price increase for summer it would come around when school ends (for kids and vacation season begins). Its not even April 15th and we are ~$3.00 -is that really an ok price to expect?

I'm going to wash my car tonight, i"ll check out some more prices.

We should alert the media of regular market activities so they can report it as a crisis like they do every year.

Yeah the prices just went up again because of that hurricane. That the biggest bunch of bull-ish I've ever heard. The real truth is the prices went up because they know we will all still pay no matter how much it is. We are being robbed blind and there is nothing we can do about it.

p.s. I hate oil companies.

Your right, it does suck, I was just messing around (that and paying close to 8/gal in scotland made this not seem not that bad).

I didn't title this *whine* about gas prices. This is more a thread to vent about an issue that we have no control over.
