This is an 02wrx with a 6mt swap in it folks, it was working fine till somebody pushed the clutch pedal down while the motor was out.

i was playing with the clutch fork and i can get it to grab now but it only grabs off the floor.

now when the clutch pedal is out all the way you can hear a squeaking.

does it sounds like i need a new throw out bearing?

Did you ever get this figured out? I also pushed the clutch while it was unbolted.

My particular issue was related to a botched install. I let my friend put the throw out bearing on, and he put it on pressure plate instead of the shaft. It didn't go on straight and was all jacked up, not allowing the clutch to work properly. Took it apart, put on new TOB, and all is well now.
