wait around 6 months

you dont need to wax it right away
the clear is still curing, so if you trap it via waxing, u aint doing the car any good

With the new paint tech its less than the 6 that used to be recommended but u should wait at least 60 days, even more important is not washing it for 20-30 days.

just give it a couple of weeks before you use any chemicals on it...you can go and rinse the car.

....just ask the shop. They should know based on the product/methods used what the curing time is. Typically it's anywhere from 60-90 days before you should wax. From what I recall, washing is usually not restricted during this time but again, ask the shop to make sure. Also, use the tips in the following article to avoid adding scratches to your finish in the meantime:

....I think you misunderstood the situation. His car just came out of the shop after being repainted (it's not new and factory cured).

i will restate then, if you do not know the proper way to wash/wax an not mar the paint then i would wait. if it is that fresh id give it a week or so before waxing.
