I think the AppleBee's on Muldoon and Debarr is about to open, the Chili's is almost built on 88th and Dimond and I saw that an IHOP is being built next to Home Depot.

I want my baby back, baby back, baby back.....baby...back...ribs.

My treat when it opens. Whatever!!! Maybe it'll be an option for the next meet.

I likes the Chili's thats opening soon. You can ask RallyX13 about that. I think he's an expert about that restaurant. He's a veteran Chili's associate.

Mmmmm.....Chillis.....Arrrhhhhhh <drool>

Mmmmm......IHOP.....Arrrrhhhhhh <slobber>

I LOVE Chillis big-mouth burgers! Especially the Peppercorn burger! I didn't know that they were building one! That's awesome. More selection is always a good thing (actually, maybe not always....)

Talking of new stores, is that rumour of Best Buy opening a store fact or a malicious tale of fiction? We REALLY need some more selection/competition in the electronics department. We had low end (Freddy's, Walmart, etc.), and we have high end (Today's, Pyramid, Shimeks), but not a really good selection of anything else in between. I guess we have Sears, but the selection isn't the best! Heck, they don't sell MiniDisc at all anymore! :-(

Anyway, electronics is tangential to the current topic. I am going to go now.......

Mmmmm.....IHOP, that's the best place to go after a night of partying, I know that for a fact.

Chilli's aint to bad.

As for the Best Buy, that is a fact that we're getting one. I have a friend that works for the architectural firm designing the new store, and they claim it will be open by late summer/early fall. Although I don't see them breaking any ground where the store is supposed to be, he said it's a done deal.

Nice word. I had to look that up. I wasn't sure if that was a conjugate of the word "tangent."

Best Buy!!! Really? That would be cool. Winslow

Winslow,

To be honest, I had to second guess myself after posting that message. You know how it is......say a word and then it doesn't sound right. Sausage was one that always got me. If you say it over and over, it doesn't sound right anymore.

Good to hear that the Best Buy thing was not a rumour.....

AutoXr: Boston Market, perchance? I understand that it's pretty good!

One thing that is gonna really please me is seeing those Chillis commercials and then not having to get mad because I CAN'T BUY IT!

Yeah, that building behind Arby's looks like a Boston Market, there not too bad, they have decent sandwiches, they were like a slightly more upscale (not necassarily higher priced) KFC, same type of menu. Sandwiches, whole roasted chickens, turkeys, sides, etc.....

I agree with you there Simon, I have problems when I see a commercial, and it's like,"WOA, we have one of those?!?!? Where is it??!? Ohh, we DON'T have one of those."

I like the Macaroni Grill or The Pasta House better then the Olive Garden, but the Olive will be a welcome addition (and change) to our normal restaurants, because when your there, your family!

See......I what did I tell you!

Olive Garden...Now that's gonna make my roommate happy! Olive Garden would definitely be a welcome addition. They have decent food for a decent price. And if you want really good Italian food, there is always Orso's, and Romanos (IMHO Orso's is much better, though.)

Sir Wally - You must be rich because I can only afford Orso's only during PFD and tax return day.

We will definately have to meet up at Chilis, but I guess that will depend on the parking situation. I cannot wait for all these new places to open.

Later...Kris

KapaFool: Not rich -- gotta gift certificate for a wedding present. Forgot we had it (for a years and a half) and just used it a few weeks ago. Orso's is _not_ the cheapest restaurant in town, that's for sure Good for a special occasion, though!

Dan,
It is the Mooses' Tooth, and they serve some pretty good Pizzas. They also have a good selection of beer on tap! Overall it is a pretty good place, and is almost always packed. But I have never been there on a Saturday afternoon!
