Please HELP I'm Throwing codes!!!

So I'm throwing 2 codes and my car won't start up...

I'm throwing P0483 which is the Control fan Rationality check Malfunction

AND...

I'm also throwing P0420 which is Efficiency below threshold.

I tried reseting the ECU and that didn't work. I also made sure all the fan fuses were good (which they were) and it still won't start.

Any ideas!? Please PM me w/advise. ~ Thanks ~

does the engine turn at all?

niether of those should prevent the car from starting, you need to provide more info, like subarucrew asked, does it turn over?

Yeah it turns. It'll sit and turn when I turn the key but won't start up. It wants to then it bogs out. It drove fine. I parked it over night, then it wouldn't start the next morning. After it bogs out it makes a weird pop from my intake too... think the cat's too plugged?

I tried replacing the MAF sensor... Now we're up and running. Thanks people!
