Cool will ej22 or ej22t heads fit on my ej18 motor?

Hi

So im doing head gaskets on my ej18 motor. and i have a set of ej22t and ej22 heads siting around. Will these fit will they raise the compression raito or lower it? and will i need to use a differnt intake mainifold.

im pritty sure it will change the compression ratio.im not sure up or down but it will change.

Yes, they will fit. No you don't need to change manifolds. Compression may change a little bit. How much of a change depends on the volume of the combustion chambers.

If you use the stock bottom end and the non-turbo ej22 heads w/ stock head gasket you will drop down to about a 8.08:1 with the solid lifter heads(which come at or around 95' IIRC). With the 90-94 heads you get about 8.2:1. Very boost friendly.
