Impreza WRX Any instructions on how to change power steering fluid?

My car is an '04 WRX and I don't think it's ever been changed. I've looked into the Maintenance FAQ and no info there. Any help with this?

I would like to do it myself if its simple, but so far this website and scoobymods have been a ton of help to me. I've had my car now for only a few weeks and I've changed the trans fluid, rear diff, oil, exhaust (sti), and some misc stuff.

Nothing seems too difficult yet while working on this car, and it's been actually been fun working on it. Still need to do the spark plugs, fuel filter, cabin filter, maybe coolant.

Easiest just to suck some out of the reservoir with a turkey baster and replace. Do it again in a couple of weeks. That will get some new fluid in there.

Thinking of taking my car to a road course (DE) later this year.

I know mine was turning a significantly different color from the original pink, so I started sucking it out and replenishing it through the resevoir before winter started. I wasn't having any issues, but I figured fresh fluid is better than brown fluid for the pump...

DON'T use that turkey baster for turkey after you suck PS fluid with it. Not worth taking a chance, I imagine PS fluid is pretty poisonous

"Dexron!"
