Default Devs: Mind explaining the OL/CL Delay table values?

I have been experimenting with some different OL/CL values to (hopefully) smooth out tip-in and the OL/CL transition that occurs between shifts as well as at take off. I have tried stock values, %10 of stock values, european values, and zeroed values all without too much luck. The lurching / bucking at low speed is pretty annoying and i'd like to get rid of as much of it as possible without sacrificing gas mileage and spool time.

The euro values certainly felt the best. I have heard that zeroing the OL/CL is a bad idea since it effects LTFT (not as much time spent in CL) which has the potential to skew A/F Learning D (which obviously has some fairly dire consequences if taken to the extreme).

But onto my theory. I have a zeitronix that samples at ~72samples/second (i have observed ~50, but anyway...). It appears that the "1" values in the table (i.e. A1, B1, C1, D1) correlates to the dwell time before enrichment occurs at tip in. From the logs, i can see that there is a minor lean spike at tip in which is roughly the same as the value for A1,B1,C1,D1 in milliseconds. For example, if 100 is in A1, there appears to be a dwell time of 100ms until enrichment is applied.

So in short: what the #@!()*& do the values in the table represent!? My best guess is that the different categories, A, B, C, and D correspond to the 4 different A/F Learning Flow ranges. For a stock 02, this is 0-5.6, 5.6-10, 10-50, and 50+g/s. That leaves 4 values within each category, which i would presume are the dwell time and enrichment time for either the OL to CL transition, or CL to OL transition.

Am I way off?
