Default Unknown catback exhuast?

I bought my 00' Legacy GT used, and it had a catback exhaust installed on it by the previous owner, and I am just wondering how I can find the brand name of it.

I tried to find something to read when it was on the ramps, but there doesn't seem to be any markings, the performance shop I go to says it's good quality, it's got a great sound to it, and it's 2.25", stainless steel lip, oval-shaped muffler, the single tip has the black mesh material inside...

The curiosity is killing me!

well if it has mesh inside the tip usually that would point to stromung / cobb... but both have markings on the top of the tip to state the brand name...

Well it would of been installed before September 2005 , or earlier, since the previous owner had it done, would that help any, not sure when cobb or stromung were made?

I'll have to look closer for markings, but I looked before and didn't see any markings on the exhaust... odd

i agree with piker28, but the muffler seems too big for a stromung. i have one and seems smaller. inder, what body kit is that? am i right... when u put it on, u replace the whole front and rear bumper and just have side moldings? do the side ones replace the stock ones or clip over them? i may be looking for a body kit in the future.

No dis taken man, I miss my stock body kit

The whole kit cost me $400 as I bought it used off some guy, and I got the kit installed and a full paint job for $1500, this was actually cheaper then ordering new stock front bumper and side skirt at the time, so I thought it would be cool to try the body kit, but I actually miss the stock kit LOL...

Always like to hear peoples opinions, even if it comes down to brutal honesty :P

Just search for Extreme Dimensions "Shark" Full Body Kit, it is a new bolt-on front bumper, rear bumper, and 2 side-skirts, the kit fits right on from what I remember, not much fabrication needed.. The old front bumper, rear bumper, and 2 side skirts are sitting in my garage now, the kit just replaces the entire parts. I wouldn't exactly recommend it as the kit makes the car very low, and I have to be very carefull of parking lot entrances and pot holes, bottoming out is definitely a reality and problem!

good luck

Lol honesty appreciated, trust me :P

I wouldn't recommend body kit to anyone, I don't like it that much anymore, and if I get some extra cash by stock parts are going back on there... I love my rims thou, but there are tons of nice rims, I like a lot of different styles..

Hopefully I have a unique combination is one thing that matters to me...
