Cool There is a GOD!

So I am at work last night thinking about today....

AG! I HAVE A REPORT DUE!

Two pages... hadn't started it... no problem... I can take care of it in the morning....

Problem 2. My printer hates me.... and for almost a month it would recognize the ink cartridgein it.

Started praying the printer would work so I didn't have to go to school early.

Typed report. Clicked print. AND IT WORKED!!!!!!

There is a God! He may work in small ways some times, but there is a God!@!!!1

Actually just to clarify some verbage here

Christian - by TECHNICAL defition is beyond the realms of quantification by sects of the church. Christian means someone who believes in Jesus Christ, who believes he was the Son of God, who believe he Died for our sins, and Rose again on the 3rd day. That's a Christian regardless of the denomination said person is or is not associated with. (hence the movement since the mid 90s for non-denominational churches)

Protestant - This is the word bankheist is really looking for. This word encompases all denominations that center predominantly around the christian faith, the bible, etc... This would be catholic, baptist, lutheran, pentecostal, even messianic jews are now considered to be "protestant" in their faith.

Not that any of this matters - Just wanted to clarify the difference between the two.

ROFL - any church that makes you feel that way is a church you shouldn't be at anyway. Even God will tell you unless you give happily and willingly he'd rather you not give at all. I personally think that too many churches harp on the tithe issue - and while the bible is clear about the tithe concept, I still feel it's something that Christians need to feel comfortable with rather than just told to do.

As a correction...

The Christian faith is typically divided into two catagories....

Catholics and Protestants....

The Protestant church was started with a famous document called the "95 Thesis" by Martin Luther when he grew tired of the traditions and apparent abandonment of the Bible in the Catholic church....

So therefore, the word Protestant doesn't mean Catholic.

Why? Discussing religion can be very interesting as long as it doesn't get ugly. Then it's pointless.
