Default FS: APS 3" catted TBE

I've had this listed in the SE forum for a couple weeks but havent gotten any bites here, sorry for the repost.

This is an older APS TBE with a bellmouth DP. 3" exhaust with a high-flow cat. Single 4" tip. Looks great and sounds amazing, very quiet for an aftermarket exhaust.

$500 obo. As you can see its dirty and has some scratches from being on a DD for 4 years. The muffler and tip still look mint when clean but the DP has some scrapes from bottoming out around town, no dents though.

This is an awesome deal! Do you have the cat delete pipe that normally comes with this?

Nope, just the catted section. I've had this up for $700 for 6 months with no bites, I hope $500 obo will move this, considering new ones sell for over twice what I'm asking.

If I hadn't just payed more than this for an exhaust that is no where near as nice I would be all over this! I payed ~$700 for mine.

I sent you a PM. Which exhaust is this on APS's website? http://www.airpowersystems.com/us_sp...i/2004_sti.htm

Its this one: http://www.airpowersystems.com/us_sp...wrx-hoe-r1.htm

I cant guarantee that its the same; the muffler tips look different although both are 4". I know for sure that the DP duct is different, as mine is a bellmouth and the newer ones are divorced. I've also got the heat shield, its just not pictured.

Would you part out just the catted downpipe?

This exhaust isn't compatible with any other systems. It wouldn't do you any good.

Are you sure? Everyone told me it is. The catback should match up to a stock length dp, no? So the opposite should be true.

This is what I got when asking a nasioc vendor for a test pipe:
Quote:
We currently do not have any of the spare test pipes as they are included when you purchase a new system. I would possibly contact aps about purchasing the pipe seperately.

I really dont think it would be too hard to have your own cat-delete fabricated. Like I said in the PM its just a straight piece of 3" piping with flanges on either side.

It wouldn't be very hard, but I would just prefer to buy one. I did find that dynocomp has some instock for $90.

Default It looks like the axleback portion necks down to 2.5"

Is this the case? I thought I remember seeing a 2.5" and 3" APS system...the prior being the older model?

Can you please verify.

Thanks

Better pics of the muffler/tip? I'm trying to see what it'd look like on a car (I'm not familiar with the 'old style')

Or better yet, any pics of it on your car?
