En el ultimo Caribbean Business, Toyota presenta el nuevo modelo Matrix, entre las opciones:

1. 4WD
2. Motor del GT-S (180HP)
3. Transmision 6 veloc.
4. Peso de chasis de Corolla

Excelente combinacion para competencia...

hmm interesante..lo unico que veo ahi es q no veo muy viable que el motor del GTS, mueva un tren AWD y con peso anadido...
el motor del GTS es similar a un serie B DOHC VTEC De honda, high revving, poco torque y el poco torque q hace lo hace q RPMS altos... es mas, el power band del VVTI es mas corto que el de un DOHC VTEC...el Celica GTS despierta luego de las 6,000RPMS y el redline es como 7,600 ...te da 1,600 rpms de real power... un B16a (como el de mi difunto Si) hacia el cambio al cam profile agresivo a las 5,500 y seguia hasta el redline de 8,200) son 2,700 rpms de "Sweet spot) tambien, si yo tiraba cambio a redline, el gearing me hacia caer de nuevo en el sweet spot del vtec,(como lo ilustra este video : http://www.pr-roadracing.com/myvideos/launchredline.mpg ) tengo entendido q el gearing del celica no es muy bueno y no cae dentro del sweet spot (pero eso sera diferente en ese nuevo vehiculo me imagino)

como que para AWD veo q seria mejor un motor con mas torque y que gire a menos rpms...
