Default Questions regarding Fuel Pump and Downpipe

I've got 2 questions:

1) Walbro fuel pump - is this direct drop-in replacement? Would I need a retune immediately after install? Or only to see a gain?

2) Catted downpipe - I've got emissions here so I'm looking to get a catted DP. Is there a huge noise gain with a catted dp versus the stock one? I live in an apartment complex and leave for work at 6am, so I'd rather not piss off the neighbors. I've got an SPT catback now, and hoping a catted dp would keep the noise level roughly the same level.

Thanks.

Fuel Pump wise, Its a direct swap, pretty straight foward, I dont think you need a retune after doing it. My car started right up after I did my fuel Pump install.

Only took me about 30-1hr to do my fuel pump.

Seat removal takes about 5-10min at most.

Fuel pump is an easy install, no tune necessary. Just make sure the gasket is on right or it could throw a CEL down the line(p0442).

Catted is quieter than catless, but louder than stock. That didn't help much, did it.
