Default AC leak question

when searching for an a/c leak using the uv detector, what kind of light would you use just a plain "black light"?

an ultra violet light with those yellow glasses that make every thing bright. i think the black light is a little different.

Is there dye in there yet? You will not be able to see R134 with out dye being installed and ran through the ac system first. If you have done this you should be able to see it with just a black light. The glasses will just make it a lot brighter.
