Default CA: Koni Insert Suspension with Prodrive Springs

SOLD!!!!!

Usage:
06 Wagon OEM Strut Housings = 60k miles
OEM TopHats = 60k miles
Prodrive Springs = approx 48k Miles. No sag
Koni Inserts = approx 20k

Konis never tracked. But Prodrive, Tophats, and housings have been to Horse Thief Mile once. Approx 4hrs of track time. The rest are freeway miles.

You will receive all 4 struts fully assembled with Prodrive springs and Adjustment Knob. 1 rear dust boot cover has been torn when these were stored in my garage. It got caught on a metal object and unbeknownst to me, i pulled harder & it tore.

Located in Long Beach, local pickup preferred. Will ship if you handle shipping and packing costs (I can bubble wrap & shrink wrap each assembly) and box each item separately. Cheaper to have multiple small boxes versus 1 large heavy box.

I also travel to NorCal often, so we might be able to arrange something as well.

$550 obo (Each koni approx 175 + my labor + springs + OEM assemblies) Paypal preferred. For a bit more, I can install them for you. It will take a couple of hours (if that) but you'll need alignment afterward.

Do you know if the struts/springs are wagon specific? (I have an 06 sedan). I'm sorry, I have not been to the Koni/Prodrive sites to check myself.

These are Sedan specific, but have never had any problems using it on the wagon.

Any type of butt sagging on them? Even drop? Any pics of them installed on your car?

It would actually be less to ship together. It'll be about $12 each or about $30 together via Fedex.

After i went 20g, full throttle would cause the car to lift and the back to squash a bit. But with all of my tools, accessories, 6 speed, and driver weight, i'm pushing close to 3700lbs+. That's a lot of momentum being swung around when I stomp on it.. I have yet to get a certified scale printout. But because of the mileage on the springs, I'm just giving them away, i've gotten my use of of them.

During normal driving and horrible SoCal streets, they would damp just perfectly. My 4yr old son would sleep through about anything.

By all means, these suckers are heavy..each assembly is close to 15 lbs. But if you can provide a shipping label after I create the DIM'ed weight, I'm open to that as well. If it's convenient for you, it's convenient for me.

Pitching left at full throttle. As you can see, the suspension was too soft for my setup, you can see it stuffing up under the wheel well. But even at 120+ on the lakebed, it was as smooth as can be.

I forgot to ask if they'll fit an 02, or if it's the 08's that won't fit an 02. If they don't fit, then why?

yes, they'll fit an 02. The 08's won't fit because it's based on the Legacy chassis. The geometry and linkage are different.

But 02-07 WRX, the frame has pretty much stayed the same.

No problems with camber or alignment. I've aligned them about 4 times in this assembly & never had a problem (i went through a LOT of tires)

If these fit a sedan, then consider them sold to me. Check your PMs.

Waiting for payment... from several serious offers.

First payment received gets the suspension, payments there after will be refused.

Sorry, us SocalF4 members always rock the pink
