Default 2003 Wagon Struts With Koni's Installed

EDIT #1 - Lowered Price from $475 to $435 after some research on here of similar set-up's (I also became aware that I could of got them for less! lol)

Here we are again everyone; after selling my RCE Lowering Camber Plates last week, it is now time to sell the Wagon Struts and Koni's that they were mated up to.

I am the second owner of these, the first owner reported roughly 10,000 miles of use on them.

I bought them on 12/11/2007, they were installed on 1/6/2008. My car had 41,620 miles on it at the time. I took this set up off when I had 44,175 miles on my car. They were on my car for exactly 2,555 miles. Given the benefit of the doubt, I would say the Inserts have less than 15,000 miles on them. I have no idea the amount of mileage on the strut housings.

The good: All the work is done, inserts are...inserted and all the parts are there except for the springs of your choice and the bumpstops.

The not so great: You will need to buy bumpstops, they will need to be shortened so I figured I would leave this up to the buyer so they could get what they want. The housings themselves look, so-so, general wear and tear for that area on the vehicle. The upper spring perches may need to be replaced as well. My alignment guy thought they both may be slightly bent. I never looked into it as I just bought new ones and am reusing them on my Tokico's.

Here is the part number: front upper spring seat 20325FA000

They are $10.32/each from subarugenuineparts.com.

Unto the pictures:

1. The spread:

2. Assembled sans Springs

3. Instructions and adjustment knobs

The moisture in the first two pics is due to me just finishing washing them up.

Now for the price:
I am looking for $435 plus shipping OR BEST OFFER

Obviously these are a heavy object to ship, I would be willing to split the shipping cost 50/50 for the right amount of money. So please, don't hesitate to post or PM me your offers.

For whoever buys them; I will ship via Fed Ex, and I will insure them for what you paid for them incase anything would happen during shipping.

There it is folks! Let me know if you have any questions!

Bump for an awesome set up ! Just note that if you are using springs from an 04+ Car, you'll need the 04+ top hats to go with them

Someone buy this man's setup ! You wont be dissappointed !

Thanks sixtoo! Yes, some things in life change and buying a house means that some of my hobbies are being put on the back burner as to not strap myself too much for cash.

But houses are cool....I guess lol

From my experience so far with the Tokico's:

The ride seems much more compliant on the Tokico's set at 5.5 turns from tull hard (7.5 turns of total adjustment). I have had them set on 3 turns and 4.5 turns from full hard, and although the ride was nice, it was a bit too stiff for daily driving purposes. I think anywhere between 3 and 4 from full hard would be great for auto-x.

I also went from RCE Lowering Camber plates to Group-N tophats in the front, I have witnessed a noticeable decrease in NVH with my current set-up.

Overall; the Tokico's are a better fit for me for what I am using my car for at this time. Mostly daily driving with a possibility of, AT MAX, 2 local auto-x's this summer strictly for fun. I like to take spirited drives in the mountains every now and then (when I'm not on my Gixxer) and I have no doubts that this set-up will perform exceptionally.

I got an alignment on Friday -1 all around, 0 toe....and turn in feels much improved.

Thanks,

Orion

my set up is almost the same except with stock struts =X rce blacks w/ group-n front top hats and max neg camber 0 toe all around. you saying that the tokicos ride better than the konis helps me save money and time since i dont have to hack up the stock housings. although i do plan on doing like an autox a month, i am also not serious about it.

Exactly, if I was looking to compete in auto-x, the Tokico's would definitely not be my best option, but I am mainly going to be doingthem for fun so I'm not overly concerned.

I see you have a TR, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the D-Specs, especially if your car ever travels on dirt/gravel roads. I also mt. bike, hike and camp and spend some time on "alternate" terrain. I have heard that the D-Specs are also better on these surfaces than the Koni's, though I have no had either set-up in that situation yet.

Let me look around at the install instructions that came with them and see if I can't dig up the number. I will let you know.
