The left side needs some work to be done to it but the right side fits perfectly...

All carbon flocked off the orignal OEM parts so not just covered. I am getting rid of all my covered cabon panels also and make real stuff off them as moulds..

The fuel system consists of dual walbro in tank pumps feeding the surge tank and then the Two 044s fed into two fuel filters..

Where are you going to put the spare tire?
It would be horrible if you were to get a flat tire!

Update 23.11.2011

Ive been busy over the last 6 months doing other things than being on the forum. But i have been getting people calling, emailing etc asking for updates so i thought i might just do one large one.

There isnt too much really to see but there have been alot of changes which i wasnt entirely happy with. Big thanks go out to Russ, Andrew, Manni and Dougie who have given their time to help out..

So heres a rough list what i have been doing over the last 6 months:

1. The engine harness has been re-worked to clean up the mess that the oringal engine loom was. This has inlcuded removing all wiring loom that wasnt been used and re-routing the loom in a manner that would make it much neater. I also mounted the loom more securely in the inner gaurd to protect it against any damage.

2. All plastic fittings, screws etc have been replaced with riv nuts and bolts for ease of removal and more secure fixings.

3. The orignal sard FPRs have been removed and replaced with an aeromotive FPR which can run 4 fuel rails. It has also been mounted to the firewall to hide where it was orignally mounted..

4. All braided lines have been re-routed and securely mounted. Very long and time consuming process.

5. The ABS brake lines were re-routed and neatend up.

6. Carbon plate has been mounted to the top of the engine to neaten the engine harness, and other ancillary plugs.

7. Plastic carbon covered gauge cluster has been remade as a actual carbon replacement panel.

8. I was never happy with all of the interior carbon covered panels so they are all to be replaced (example picture from previous) with complete carbon replacement panels using the oringal plastic ones as a mould. This includes the centre console, door trims, b-pillars, lower pillars, rear parcel shelf, wiper cowl.

9. Carbon steering SLM wheel has been completed, mounted and wiring harness spliced into the clock spring.

10. Borg Warner EFR 8374 twin scroll that was purchased in January 2011 has finally arrived. This will replace the GT40R that is currently on the car.

BIG THANKS to Geoff and Raffi from FULL RACE for making this happen, they worked so hard to ensure that i got a turbo when so many others missed out. Looking forward to seeing how it goes on pump and E85..

I think this is most of the stuff that has been done or in the process of being done to the car. Should be on the road by the end of the year.

Some more pics.

Current state of the car. The rear end is entirely complete apart from a carbon panel in the boot.

The charcoal cannister had to be re-routed to account for the carbon diffuser.

Carbon diffuser bolts were replaced with black powercoated special head bolts.

Comparison of how engine bay look before the changes:

1. I have always wanted the speedline wheel which i cant get due to the change in PCD pattern of 5x114.3.

2. So i decided use those wheels as a blank and machined out the centre section (which is complete solid metal, this is the case as they use blanks to achieve whatever offset they desire) from Russ using his CNC machine. We shaved around 150g/ rim if memory serves me correctly.

And also getting the revolution insinga removed and replaced with speedline from Manni whom is also going to be painting the rims the same colour gold.

I think so far its turned out great and just how i expected it to.

Are those shift lights I see IN the steering wheel? If so, nice touch just like the Ferrari.

I don't get what you did with the wheels. Did you bore out the whole hub and make a copy In 5x114 then pressed it in?

Yeh i carry a spray goo which u spray to a flat. Spare tyres are so over rated these days and just add uneccessary weight..

hmmm i dont think you can as the stock lines would need to be cut and then have ends welded on. If you were going for a similar setup you might as well rip out the hardlines and replace them with bigger ones. Really isnt a huge task. If you wanted a surge tank setup you will have to join to the rubber lines underneath the car??

Yeh its an MoTeC SLM light which controls shift light but a million other things, like indicators, fuel levels, high beams etc etc. Very neat device. I modelled it off the fezza when i saw it and though a similar thing could be done here. Havent tried if it works yet but will see in the near future.

These wheels are 5x114.3 already. I didnt like the centre section and wanted it to be deeper similar to my enkeis and the speedline wheel. Plus the centre section was so heavy being solid, so i decided to remove 20mm depth of the centre section and saved probaly 150g per wheel without affecting the strength of the wheel..
