Mileage: ~215.5K
Color: Black Body: Sedan Transmission: Automatic Title: Clean and in hand Location: Bloomington/Normal Illinois The Good This is my winter car for the past two winters. It drives good and is dependable. It always starts even in bitter cold IL weather. It is a good daily driver or work car. Oil/filter changed every 3000 miles. Had new plugs about 30,000 miles ago. Brake pads changed about 30,000 miles ago. Needs a transmission fluid flush, but other than that maintenance is up to date. The Bad Driver side front and rear windows do not work. Cracked windshield. Paint is beginning to break down. It's not in bad shape considering the age, but it definitely has some wear spots which the paint is worn through. Rust is minimal though for a car that's seen this many miles. Shock on the passenger rear feels blown. In warm weather it's not bad at all. But when it gets really cold (subzero) it rides kinda bouncy I assume because it freezes up Overall, this is pretty solid car for what I'm asking. I'm looking to get $650 for this thing. With proper maintenance it will run at least another 25-50K more miles imho. Any questions please don't hesitate to PM me. Thanks, -dave

Some of you may notice I also have my 2007 STi up for sale too.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1454850 I was using this Elantra to drive in really crappy IL weather to keep all the nasty winter salt and rain off my STi (I know, STi is most fun in crap weather, but I baby the damn thing). It was fine when I only had one kid. As most of you know that have kids, when they are infants you need the reversed kid seat. This requires latch restraints. This Elantra does not have latch restraints and I now have an infant second child. So I can't use it for kid hauling anymore. Hence the sale. My plan is to get a different car with latch restraints in the rear seat as a beater car for kid hauling in nasty weather after this car is sold. |
