Well....the OEM dampers are a bit softer this time around and these are intended to match up with them. Still a little surprising but we think it has a lot of potential.

we'll have the stockers tested when we make our own springs, but here's some speculation:

the USDM ones just say "25% stiffer than stock"... which means...

if stock is: 150 lbs/in front, 138 lbs/in rear

USDM STi (being 25% stiffer) = 187.5 lbs/in front, 172.5 lbs/in rear
JDM STi "stiffer than USDM" = 188 lbs/in front, 171 lbs/in rear?

they're identical... so maybe the 10mm vs. 15mm drop are just inconsistencies in measurement...

ok so YES these are the same thing. Subaru Genuine Parts shows the part # as B2010FG000 and B2010FG100 at 110.00 LIST for each spring so 440.00 LIST for a set. So how long they can do that price they show wo knows. But in this case these are and those are NOT SPT, they are STI as in JDM as in JAPAN. One thing is for sure they wont be able to sell those for that price very long !!

the price on subarugenuineparts.com and the price dealers are going to offer as well... and this is what I've been told

$158.60 for the set of 4 springs

it is the introductory price though (as it is with the SPT exhaust) and WILL eventually go up significantly... but seeing as these are the same as the JDM pinks... it's an awesome deal.

I think they're just confusing SPT and STi -- the "SPT Springs for WRX" are made by STi so technically they are STi pink springs. the website doesn't say SPT anywhere as of right now so maybe it was a typo. I plan on ordering these..!

Yeah I just confirmed this with SOA. This is a great deal and I will the first to say buy it while it last. Its better by a LOOOOONG shot than what we pay to get it from Japan.

Good find.

For the enthusiast, by the enthusiast.
