Your pretty new, so.....
In small blue print in the top right of your screen there is a link called "search." You'll find your answers there. Or you could just go to the Vishu site and TurboXS site to see for yourself. There is no difference in the chip itself. The chip is the same. They are how ever tuned differently because the tuners do things differently. TXS does offer a harness that allows a simple install and has some other features. None f the unichip tuners that I know of have an over-the-counter-remedy tuned chip for a totally stock car. Now if you are REALLY asking what the differences are in their performance kits,....they are totally different. You're just going to have to SEARCH here and look at the websites yourself. |

Metoo,
If you're frustrated by his sinful choice of not searching, don't reply to his post. Hell, don't even read it. I'm so sick of the search police! His question is valid and even if it may have been answered in other posts, he chooses to ask it again in a different way. TurboXS: plug&play with harness Vishnu: Requires cutting a few wires..no big deal I hear Both are reputable products, and have good tuners behind them. |

I agree about the "search police" statement. I mean what's the point of having a forum if every time you post something someone tells you to go do a search?

Could you clarify what your txs uses? (i.e. map or tps)

agree with "no search police" for topics that are evolving, or where there's no set answer or which benefit from healthy debate.
however, so many topics are cut and dry or should be "searched" for the learning experience. lets not make a big deal either way. |

TXS uses TPS and it is set for 40% So at 40%TP you get full boost.
I had the TXS stage II and it was fun to modulate the gas at about or a bit less thatn 40% and then slowly press on... the car would accelerate forward in a very healthy manner ![]() end result: doing 90 mph and running out of freeway space LOL I would like to try Shiv's version see how different it feels. Cheers T. |

I live in D.R. and couldn't have a Unichip tuned for my car. I emailed Shiv and they told me if I let them know what octane gas I use here and what mods I have, they can tune one for me with good reliable settings yet good performance upgrade nonetheless. Has anyone done it like that? Should I go for it?
