Angry weird noise from front right!!!!!!!!!!!!

95 subaru wagon put new cv axle, balljoint in, makes grinding noise only when you turn right and accelerate. the noise doesnt happen if you dont touch the accelerator. anyways anyone know what it can be? i know its not a wheel bearing/cv joint/balljoint??think its somethin to do with pads or rotors?


i tryied to post this before but someone with another sound they got 12 reply's i didnt get any, i really need some help

At one point, my old Legacy would occasionally make a grinding noise from what seemed to be one of the brake rotors. It would go away if I made a sharp turn. That sounds different from your problem, though.

Maybe check the heat shields? If the noise only happens during acceleration, the engine or exhaust system would seem to be involved in some way. I'd expect that to be more of a buzzing than grinding sound, though.

yeah sounds about the same sorta, i figure it sometihn with the brakes

I have this same problem! I have a new axle, ball joint and tie rod. It seems to be coming from the inner part of the axle. Check that out on your car see if it spit some axle grease on your exhaust too.
