Hard start after rain storm

As of late I have noticed my car being hard to start when it has sat for a bit during or after a rainy day. Last week we had a day or heavy rain and since it was my day off the car didnt move all day. Well the nxt morning I went out to warm up the car and it crank over as if it had zero compression or a broken timing belt it cranked like that for about 5 or 6 seconds then i gave it half throttle and finally fired up and sounded like a bag or marbles for a few seconds until oil pressure built up. Seems to start rough only after a rainy day. I thought maybe water was getting in somewhere but I dont think thats the cause. So far no check engine lights or any other problems, oh yeah its an '03 WRX 102k miles with a VF39 and supporting mods.

Your plug wires might be getting old and worn out. I had a similar problem in my Focus (before I wrecked it), and a fresh set of spark plug wires fixed it.

WRXs dont have plug wires, just coils on the plugs.

My mistake. I presumed that the WRX had the same setup as the non-turbo models.
