Default Next in the list of crappy cars I've owned....

1985 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer, 2.5 liter 4-cyl, 5mt, 176XXX miles.
Price: $Free

My father in law gave me the Cherokee since he doesn't need it any more. The clutch master and slave need replaced (drove it 20 miles w/o a clutch - including having to start it in 2nd gear anytime I stopped...was a fun drive to say the least), and could use some general TLC to make it a daily beater.

I think I'll run some seafoam through it and change the oil/plugs/wires/filters later this week, and then the clutch master and slave are being replaced on Saturday.

As soon as my other vehicle is repaired, the Cherokee will become my hunting/off roading rig, so a lift kit, swamp tires, and obligatory CB radio will be coming in the near future. yee haw.

Too bad it wasn't the 4.0. Those things are tanks with that bullet proof engine

Ugh - I'm still ****ing battling with this ****ing hydraulic clutch system. One ****ing plastic pivot piece for the slave cylinder pushrod is broken, and is holding me up. One $.80 part is keeping me from driving. ****ing irritates the **** out of me. On a more positive note, I tracked down a part number for the motherfiver and its on the way to Iowa.
