Default What car would you buy if you won $1,000,000 lottery

Yes its another one of these stupid threads, ok lets assume you won some jackpot lottery that ended up $1,000,000 net AFTER taxes are already deducted and lets assume there is no choice for lump sum or installment payments, you just get $1,000,000 cash in a suitcase to spend however you want, enjoy.

Now lets set the rules:

1. only ONE car
2. you must pay for insurance, fuel, maintenance, parking/garaging out of your lottery winning funds...or your own pocket if you choose.
3. must be an actual US street legal production car (not something street legal in another country but illegal in the US)
4. can be new or used
5. you must keep this car for at least 5 years, no selling (violate these rules and not only are your lottery winnings taken away, but your earnings from the sale are confiscated as well) this means you'll have to anticipate reliability down the road and upkeep costs since you can't just enjoy it for a year and then get rid of it
6. you are welcome to take your lottery winnings or personal cash and 'build up' or 'modify' your car as you wish
7. must be drivable on BOTH street and track

personally i'd throw in for a Ferrari 599, a hot front engined GT with a useable trunk

MSRP = $273,845

Litchfield type 25.
No doubt at all.

If for some reason I couldn't get a Litchfield, then I'd have to stick with a nice Porsche C4S.

1 million after taxes is not enough money to justify an almost 300k car. sorry.

anyhow, i'd buy a slightly used e55 amg kompressor.

something really cheap. If I only get $1,000,000, I'm not going to burn a large percentage in depreciation on a car.

i'd buy an electric car or something that got retardedly high gas mileage, and drive that back and forth to the lake house that i'd buy with the rest.

You'd blow more than 1/4 of your winnings on a depreciating asset with high recurring costs?

Do you have to spend the money on a car? You can't just buy a cheap ass car and keep the rest?

If I have to spend it all on a car including upkeep... Porsche CGT or CCX.
