Default pic request: widebody rear panels with stock front fenders??

hey, ive been thinking of just investing in the rear widebody panels because it seems to me like the front is more than wide enough but the back looks skinny compared to it. i dont want the sti rear flares so i was thinking that it might even it out nicely to just have a slight widebody on the rear

just wondering if anyones done this

damn those are some black wheels!
If you got your rears pulled you could make it look a little bigger, but its really not worth the money to go say 10-15mm wider in the rear. Is your goal to put some 295s under it?

oh and i was thinking mostly of the visual aspect but it will definitely lead to some big meaty tires under there for the time being i was just going to throw some spacers on my rims i have now

I have never seen it done, I mean this would be more for a RWD car, not an AWD one. I do understand what you are saying about the front being enough, but most widebodies come as full kits. Be the first though!

funny you posted this.. i was going ot do the same thing with my sti. seems the front fenders are alway wider any with a widebody kit and it just doesnt look right to me. i've since changed my planes since i had to shell out another 5000 for a shortblock. kinda spoiled it for me after that. do it i dont think you would regret it. i kinda think it would look like an r34 flared in the rear adn stock front fenders.

if anyone local wants to, they can just mock up my rear overs on their car as mine aren't on yet.
