I say only do local transactions with him and you are alright. People have been getting stuff from him lately and it seems to be good.... But most likely you are screwed. Let us know if you get the trans and if its in good shape!

Edit your posts before he see's them. go get a lauyer. there is plenty of good info in here to pin his ass to the wall. Or a least make him serve some more jail time.

I love how the law protects this guy. Since he steals my cash and no form of assistance is given to me by the authoritys yet if I make a threat I will be charged by the state.

RMIC needs a sticky labeled "Before you bump the scammer thread, read this and after you've taken action, then post" and just have it say that. I was sympathetic at first, but its just getting to the point of "omg let's just keep spamming this forum instead of taking initiative to at least attempt to reclaim what's ours", I've since joined the unsympathetic masses, not because wrong was done to people but because their only course of action is to insist on annoying the rest of us with reviving this dinosaur of a thread every 2-3 weeks like clockwork, there is a scammer central on nasioc, I'd be amazed if his name wasn't there, when you purchase something from someone you're not sure of, check there, if nothing shows up, then well, you've done as much as you could to be proactive.

The guy gave me a diffrent name and address along with pictures and recipts for the trans, so I did do everything I could since I checked all the scammer thread and and the guy had good feedback on a couple higher priced items. But after a while I put 2 and 2 together on this guy and found out it was the same guy this thread is about. Also the lawyer is going to cost more than what I lost. And unfortunatly the only thing that even slightly increases my chances of recovering my losses involves me getting into trouble myself.

I would suggest filling for small claims. Even though it may not do anything, its worth a shot.

I am filing for small claims just for the records and then that way if he doesnt pay up he is screwed and I will drive there to collect.

contact fourmicah, if you haven't already, and see if he can't draw this to the courts and polices attention here in salt lake. just maybe some justice will be dispensed.

maybe the thread could be made into a sticky and linked to all the other posts about him. that might help make it more affective for people trying to research what kind of person they are dealing with.
