Question 60,000 mile service

I got a 03 wrx turbo.

Should i be doing anything at 60,000 mile sevice?


how long does the clutch usually last?

The 60 & 90k question has been asked too much in the past few weeks. As far as the clutch goes, who the hell knows. It depends on a few things like how you drive the car in every sense, mods.. . If you go 300 miles at a time like an OTR (over the road) truck driver on the freeway, it could last forever. When I was a mechanic at a Honda dealer, I've seen factory clutches go beyond 200k, and a few bomb out with 50k something miles.

If you have your owners manual, read it and perform everything it says to do at 60k in the severe service category.

60K...plenty to do: I'm collecting parts now to do mine next month.

Inspect:
Drive belts
Camshaft drive belt
Trans/Rear diff lubricants
Brakes, lines etc..
Clutch system
Steering and suspension system

Replace:
Engine oil
Oil Filter
Engine Coolant
Fuel filter....your lucky by the way...you don't have an 05+ for this job
Air cleaner
Spark plugs
Brake fluid
Rotate wheels
