Default Can someone tell me where this hose goes?

Hi Guys,

I recently did a turbo swap and im throwing a p0457. There is no hose connected at the moment to the intake manifold where the green circle is. I covered it with a rubber grommet so nothing gets in, I just don't know what hose is supposed to go on there. I don't see any loose hoses in the engine bay, but somewhere to start would be awesome. I borrowed the engine bay pic from someone else, btw.

Thanks,

Grant

Looks like its the air bypass hose B. It connects to the intake inlet below it i believe. PM me your e-mail and i can send you a pdf to where it goes.

there is a small selenoid below and to the left of that hose. It is attached to the intake manifold by a 12mm bolt. if you undo the two hoses next to that one(the one attached to the intake manifold and the one attached to the turbo inlet) you should be able to see the solenoid and reattach the hose put a small clamp or zip tie on it and it should hold.

Thanks for the responses, I will check that. Would this be a reason to throw an EVAP p0457 CEl?

Well, I looked under the hood and there are no extra hoses anywhere. So the hose connects from the intake manifold to the solenoid bolted to the manifold?

Its actually hard to see where it goes from the top, you may have to remove a couple things to put it in its proper place. Or you may have accidentaly taken the hose off and forgotten it. Let me know if you have any more questions

I mean idk whether the hose connects to that valve. The valve is already connected to the intake, the manifold in the location on the photo, and to a hose that goes underneath the intercooler to a metal rail. Idk where the hose is supposed to connect to.

Thanks guys for the responses. The guys at DPS figured out the problem, the valve was broken and no hoses came off of it. DPS replaced the valve for me for free! On a side note I got my car tuned by Pirouz and I am extremely happy with it. Thanks guys, your service is awesome!
