Default best motor oil for 2.0

all this talk about spun bearings has scared me. What oil would you guys recomend for a slightly modified 2.0 eninge. right now im using 5-30 synthic. should i go with 10-40?

Your best bet would be to get a UOA done and see how your oil is holding up. If it is good, then the company will tell you, if it is bad, then they may recommend certain changes to you.

I use Castrol Syntec (blend) 10W40. I still burn some but I feel comfortable with it.

Amsoil 5/30 Lots of Blackstone tests and lots of miles. Not necessarily best just lasts a helluva long time.
