Talking SOLD wheels, still have tires: 18" 5x114 RE30's MINT with low-mile Toyo Proxes T1Rs

Sick wheels. Decided I would rather spend the money on suspension at the moment.

They are PERFECT, not a scratch, and the tires look almost brand new. I bought these from a guy in Norcal last week for $2450 cash and that's what I'm looking for... I had them on my car for a few days but didn't ever drive the car hard, so I'm firm on that price.

These are in perfect condition and the tread on the tires is practically unworn, so that's what they look like. =) I can also post pics of them on his white '05... sick sick sick. Great looking wheels. Glad I tried them!

For those that don't know, these are RE30s made by Ray's with a special forging process just for Volks. The wheel/tire package would cost about $3300 new (without shipping and taxes) I believe, so this is a healthy discount. These are 18x8.5 with 235 40 R18s - a well-rated tire for all around use. The wheels weigh 17lbs each and to ship them across country with full packing and insurance, it would be $300, just so you know if you're interested for some reason. =) Would rather sell them locally, but am happy to ship. =)

Gorgeous wheels, brand new tires, killer deal.]

G/L w/ the sale but....

You should...

- add the offset
- exact color (diamond black, flat black, etc..)

Pics will be needed eventually and I also think you got the tires size wrong.

Why the change of heart?

No, actually, the guy put 235's on.

About the pictures, there has been no interest, so I won't bother yet. When there's interest, I'll bother. I dunno if this SCIC thread will be enough...

Like I said before (I'm pretty sure I said a lot of this before :P ) I would rather spend the money on suspension, I decided. I like them, but I'm just not in love with them enough to spend that kind of money on wheels. There are a lot of other people that are totally stoked on these, so I'd like them to have them! =)

No, actually, the guy put 235's on. You're right, though, they're 40's, not 45s, like I'd originally said, but I'm not sure why he didn't go 245. Either way, it's a great tire for moister places especially, and the narrower tread size will definitely help with fuel economy at least slightly on those long trips.

FYI, 04 STi bolt pattern is 5x100, while 05-07 STi bolt pattern is 5x114, so they'll fit one or the other but not both, for sure

oops - edited. As the pictures show, they've been on an '05 and an '06, and they're listed as 5x114.3, so they'll fit 05-07. =)
