Default Perrin EBCS CEL problems, help?

I recently got rid of the stock bcs when I upgraded my turbo again. right now im running a limp map from dave brown and I threw the ebcs on. I plan'd on having it on and just disconnecting it till I get tuned and run wastegate boost. Im running an avo450 turbo with a 15psi spring.

anyways, I installed the ebcs following instructions from perrin. installed it in intterupt mode (spelling?)

connected the wires to the stock wiring, cap'd the solenoid hose on the turbo inlet and no matter what i do...I keep getting the p0246 code...question, is this something that he can change when hes tuning it? I emailed dave but havent gotten a reply because hes super busy and its not a huge deal right now.

also, when i disconnect the ebcs, i instantly get the p0245 code and i tested the solenoid on the battery and it clicked so it def works.

I thought you were only supposed to install an EBCS right before a tune, so the tuner can set it up properly. I haven't gotten a pro-tune yet, but have a Perrin EBCS...I was specifically told to NOT install it before I am at the tuner shop.

Sorry I can't provide any advice, hopefully someone can.

i know that...this isnt why youre not supposed to install it though...it throws everything outta wack and its dangerous to run cause you'll see a lot more boost sooner and will hurt your motor. mines not doing that lol

oOOh, ok....sorry, I'm new to the EBCS, this will be the first time I've even messed with it. Have you tried calling Perrin or just a local tuner to find out what's up with it? Maybe something faulty internal?
