Default another pcv valve ? on an 04 WRX

ok... so ive been up and down every wrx forum looking for the answer and i cant seem to spot my pcv valve... ive taken my intercooler piping off and ive taken off what i think is the pcv valve but i need some reassurance...



i got the autozone pcv valve...the threads are the right size but the hose fitting is completely too big... the valve i took out was completely hollow with no valve stopper???? check it out





could ANYONE HELP ME OUT

DOOD, you bought the wrong part, the PCV valve is encased in the plastic piece and has to be purchased together, because it's impossible to remove the valve without damaging the plastic.

yea just changed mine yesterday.. i pulled the hollow valve out from under the TB like subaru said but its actually the whole assembly near the turbo like murrdogg stated in the picture... go to subaru and buy the whole assembly because u will never get it out of the plastic piece.
