Tokyo Auto Salon pics....

Hey there guys, well i'm back from my trip to Tokyo. One thing i have to say is this, if you can afford $1400. next january, this IS the best thing you can do with it! Anyway so we went to the HKS factory and we met the president which was cool, and they showed us around the factory and stuff, i had a chance to ask him when will we see parts for the new WRX from HKS and he said before the end of this year, so that a good thing. And get this he told us one of his personal cars is a WRX!! Must know a good thing when he see's it!

And as you can imagine the Auto Salon show was off the hook! I will post some pics today, but the rest will wait til next week.

Just in case you were wondering what it's like over there, for about 20 minutes you are like wholly *****, look at that car, look at this car, and it lasts only for about 20 minutes because that's all it takes to see some of the wildest stuff you can imagine seeing over there, what do i mean by wild? How about a skyline police car pulling some guy over on the highway!!!! No Joke!. Well Subaru was very well represented over there... Saw a few WRX's on the street. But as many of you already know Skylines and Sylvia's are like civics over there, they are absolutely everywhere, not just stock ones either, totally modified ones...

There was a bad side to the trip which is Japan is expensive. Not crazy expensive just alittle more than you would pay for stuff here. But there are places you can go to find stuff cheap, it's just that since i'm not from there, it took us awhile to find them.

Glad you had a great trip. I can't believe your up this early!! Must be jet lag?

Sweet! For some reason the HKS link did not work, but my connection at work is getting worse as other arrive in the office. I will have to check them out again at home with the cable modem.

Glad you had a good trip. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Sweeeeeet! Damn, those Subaru girl *cough I mean cars are pretty hot! There is def some wallpaper material in that group. I can't believe how many WRX's were there - and it looks like Detroit AND Japan ended up with a WRC car - not just a mock up with Alcon 6pot brakes.
