Default FS 2006 Subaru Impreza Wrx STi CMG

after my 2 year ownership of my previous WRX and current STi, i guess its time to make a change.
For sale is my 2006 CMG STi, I imported it from the states myself, last year. still has all the documentation, following is the info:

currently with 34k KM/22k mile on the odometer, clean title.

The car is almost 100% stock except the viper alarm with remote starter and trunk release. ultra white LED map and door light. JDM style headlight.

the Stock silver BBS rim with summer tire has at least 85% life left. on the trunk is a low-profile WRX wing with all the badge removed except the pink STi logo.

the car is in very good condition and runs great, oil change regularly every 3k and i have change all the fluid since i bought it. has receipt to prove. this is my second WRX and i have been taking a very good care of it.

please call me at 604 765 9493 to see the car.

Price: 31500 Firm

That's what I'm looking at too... 545i would be a very good car to upgrade. But forget about the Z roadster, cause it's ugly !

The market will determine if its a fair price. You also have to remember not everyone wants the "hassle" of doing the legwork (paperwork and paying for the whole car).

His price is fair. They may sell for $23K - 25K USD in the states but if you want to import one you'll have to pay the foreign exchange diff as it is slightly less than the US$ now. Also, duties and taxes also have to be factored into the price so I don't see your logic.

Just let the guy sell his car. Nobody's asking you to buy it.

thanks for the support guys.
i think some people just dont understand even US STi is still a STi, not a 2.5i, not a civic, it should at least worth what it deserves. i have seen US with more mileage asking for 33k, actually its still in craigslist. so that is how my price comes. it sells for 25k in the states does not mean it cost you 25k to bring it up here. you gotta take that 19.1% sale tax and duty into account and all the time and hassle in preparing the homework. that is why i am dare to sell it for 31.5k.

well. bump it up.

Lol Duh they are selling really cheap in the states.

Do you even know what you have to do in order to bring a car up here?

1) 13% PST and GST
2) 6.1% Customs because it is made in Japan.
3) Paper work

Even if you could find an 06 STI in the states that costs 25K US, after all the taxes it would be 30-31k landed.

So what were you saying about 23-25k canadian?

Honestly, just do your research first before you **** on someones thread because honestly you don't know anything.

Feel free to respond to my comments and prove me wrong.

Bump for an honest seller.

Stripo, maybe Vrgs is asking too much for his STI but why not just leave him along? Just let him sell his car and if other people think he's asking too much, they wouldn't buy it, right?

hey, how much money and effort it costs you to bring the car in canada, is how much the car worth to CANADIAN market.

25000*1.191= 29775 already, Plus the inspection fees and paperwork plus your time and effort to bring the car up. i think that worth 31500.

my point is, even you go down to the states yourself, you would end up paying around my asking price. so why is my price too high?

Wow stipro do you have nothing better to do in your life but to rag on vrgs car? The demand will dictate the price of the car not what you feel it is worth.
