Default Cobb tuner help?!?

I need some help with this thing, I bought it from some guy used, but can't get past the vin check, it tells me that the unit is registered to another vehicle?!?

IIRC you have to send it to Cobb, and they charge something like $150 to do it

HE needs to pay for it to be shipped back to him for it to be done, it is HIS **** up not yours.
