Default AEM Uego Problem

So I started having a problem with my Uego today.. At WOT the gauge was dropping to 10 which is the lowest the gague goes I know, but my car was still running fine, I did the Live Data with my AP 2 and at WOT I was @ 11.2 which is what I got tuned for but is this a accurate reading , so I am worried the car is running crazy rich.. I mean the gauge goes nuts at WOT it could be at lets say 14.2 and I can be in 4th gear and @ WOT the gauge just blinks and goes straight to 10.. I called AEM and they are D*cks no help at all thay just say well if it reads 10 your car is running rich, F**king idiots.

Could this be a bad sensor?? I have had the Uego for 300 miles, I have a Helix Catted DP and the bung is near the Turbo so the sensor is probably less then 6 inches away from the Turbo could that melt the sensor this quick??

Please help...

Well I just got it installed 300 miles ago wouldnt it come calibrated? Also how do I do that I dont have the instructions lost them. At this point I am starting to think my car is running that rich.. I wiped the inside of my exhaust today and there was a bit of build up soot so I think I am running rich.. Unless its mechanical and there is a boodt leak somewhere and thats whyshe is dumping the fuel..

the AEM Uego comes calibrated. the other brands you have to open air calibrate them.

you probably are running rich. I am no tuner but I think closer to the turbo will read richer. the instructions I think (with out looking at mine) say install the o2 18" away.

I have seen plenty of comments on here when searching that in the bellmouth is ok just will make the sensor not last as long.

on cobb AP it is reading your stock o2 sensor. it will read 11.2 on your car all the time at WOT. it is not a wideband o2 sensor, sensor is for feedback under non-WOT conditions.

hope this helps a little. many tuners will tune your vehicle richer than you or I would probably tune our own cars. they don't want you to get some crappy gas and pop the thing because it is on the edge of lean as is. also many tuners run at the tail pipe much further away from where your sensor is and will read different.

Well yeah I mounted close to the turbo but it shouldnt be burnt at 300 miles.. My tuner tuned me for 11.2 AFR and it has been dead on till yesterday when the gauge all of a sudden read 10.0 at WOT. At this point I think it may be mechanical or maybe a boost leak, I do have some soot in my tailpipe which I guess means I am running rich. I mean but that is way to rich and if the gauge is dropping to 10.0 that quick it may be actually lower you know.. I guess only way to find out is take it back to the tuner and let him data log it to see whats up sucks that he is over 2 hours away.........
