Default Need an sti swap? or want to buy an sti?

Auction for this car feeler: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1492826

I did a complete 05 sti swap into a friends 02 wrx. I fronted him parts but he couldn't come up with the cash so I ended up purchasing the car from him to get my money back out of it.

I had the car sold but just yesterday found out that the buyer backed out last second because he couldn't come up with the $... very very frustrating. I even returned it to a stock sti for the buyer.

So now I am sitting on a sick car or lots of sti parts. I have to figure out immediately how to get my money out of it.

There are only a few minor things on the car that are stock(02 wrx) like the front control arms, external antenna, rear end, etc. It would be best to forget that I ever mentioned that it is an 02 and instead an 05 sti just so you can understand what parts are in it.

Here are the options for anyone interested.

1) You purchase the car
$18,000 obo.

2) I take the sti parts out of the car and you bring me all of your wrx parts so I can return the car to stock.
$10,000

3) You purchase the entire swap from me, I get all of your wrx stuff and I take care of all the labor.
$12,500

The car was purchased for about 14.5k and we have put about 15k into it not including any of the labor. This car has a clear title and I am the owner of it with the title in hand. There are a lot of scratches and nics around the car but it runs amazing. There are approx. 30k miles on the parts and 90k on the chassis.

I know subaru's very well and have a ton of experience working on them. I am flexible for I need to get rid of this car asap. pm me with any questions, I will gladly speak with you in person/on the phone and give you a ride if you want the parts.

so you want to trade for all the WRX parts plus $10,000? seems like a lot.

correct,

That is absolutely everything though. If you add it up and do the math, it is a fair deal. Sure you might be able to find a wrecked sti for that but good luck getting a ride in it before you make the purchase. There are usually a lot of parts that need to be replaced when you purchase a wrecked car. If you source all the parts from different people you will spend a lot more then what I am asking. Not to mention my stuff will already be out of the car and I can offer help if you do the swap yourself. My price is based on 02 wrx parts with high miles, so if you have newer stuff with less wear then the price will be lower.

Really unique car. I love the brembos and the black interior. Makes me want to consider a gloss black. What did you use to paint the trim?

rattle can

The high heat paint from kragen or autozone works great, really easy to do.
