Default New car - and for once, it's not a Subaru.

Picked up a new daily driver yesterday, and I can't tell you how great this car is. I definitely like it more than I initially expected.

Whooooooa VTEC!

Seriously, though. It's a great car.

It's a 2000 with 21,000 miles.

Is it close enough to a Miata to get mod powaz?

Seriously, it's harder to behave in the S2000 than it is the STi. RWD is plenty of fun. I'm sure I'll settle down a bit once the novelty wears off.

Looks nice and clean...nice find.

I saw a CR today in the Bronx and almost threw-up a little in my mouth. They riced out a perfectly good car

only issue with the '00 is the plastic window.

we had an '03 for six months....we were storing it for a friend who was overseas. that car was a blast...if I could fit, I'd own one.

Don't be so sure about that. I've had my car for almost 2 years and the "novelty" of RWD hasn't even begun to wear off yet.

Dad had that exact same car. He managed to back it into a brick wall at around 80 showing off his dorifto skills.

Damn things sure are twitchy at the limits. I'm betting you'll be modding the hell out of it though. The are really fun cars anyway. nothing like keeping it at 8000+ RPMS around a turn.

Congrats! I had been debating between trading the Miata in on an S2k vs. buying a bike, and ended up with the bike, but it was a close thing. It's a great car.

Funny thing about VTEC (from a former GS-R owner)...get the engine above 5500 RPM, and it'll move...try and floor it at 2000 RPMs and you'll lose to every minivan out there.

We just leased an '08 (white/red leather) for my wife and I have to say that thing is supremely fun to drive. Haven't had it up in the 'tec as she's breaking it in responsibly, so I haven't grapped its true speed capabilities, but man does it handle.

What's the give or take $2,000 price range on one of those these days? Miatas are a dime a dozen and Flyin Miata is just a click away.

... that's my Dad's exact car. Nice pickup... it'll last you forever. His is well through 220K, only on it's second clutch. Looots of autocrosses in it, too.

Factor in rear tires to your quarterly budget. It's just how the car's set up He's settled in on Kumho MXs the last few times... bang-for-the-buck, you can't beat them for the stock size.

I cannot believe that's a MY2000... looks brand new! Black interior, or red?

I thought that, but how is it placed on the VC? It's usually off to the side somewhere.
