CP drop in pistons with 07 sti heads????

so what`s the final compresion ratio on a sti MY07 using off the shelf drop in cp pistons made for the older stis??

The 07 head is different with egr provision and smaller ports...

My static compression is 105 psi with stock 07 sti heads and cams

Any insight ideas regarding this????

I just pulled my CP drop in pistons. They were loud as hell and would let oil blow by like crazy. I dropped the stock STI pistons back in and the engine is back to running perfectly.

Mine are perfect and zero blow by, just a though on a possible lower CR than previous years...

Cossworht offers a different head set combo for 07 stis... maybe just provision for egr..

what`s the static compression test results on a 07 sti? around 140 right?

With off-the-shelf CP 100mm pistons, OEM head gaskets, and .003" off the cylinder heads, I had 120 compression. 135 on the stock motor with the same gauge. MY05 heads.

What bore clearances were you running?

I'm running CP'S haven't done a comp test yet, but I'm having issues with rogue smoke at start up once in a while I'm kinda concerned I guess. I mean I kinda figured that there would be alittle blow by, but it seems kinda odd that there is no pattern its just random.

Seems like and error on rings posture on pistons or either cyl wall premature wear or something.. I have done many drop in cps with no smoke at all

Check your pcv system?
