Quartz metallic grey son!

Default Axle grease everywhere!

My passenger side axle is throwing grease everywhere. It's the second new axle put on that side. Should I get another new one or put a new boot and clamp on there?

Does anyone else have this problem?

There is a lot of info in the Transmission forum. For example, I found this quote that might apply...

After you fix the grease issue, you should make a heat shield for the RH CV joint to keep this from happening again.
I just had grease leakage on my driver's side and it was repacked and rebanded by the dealer last week. Only time will tell if it lasts.

If you redo it yourself dont use the grease that the boot comes with. Use High Temp Synthetic Wheel Barring Grease. It will remaing thick longer under the heat. Just be sure to use the same amount as in the bag that comes with the new CV joint

Did you go with a new boot too or just reuse the old one?
