Default Cel 1445

Hey everyone, My 2000 2.5RS' CEL came on. I went down to autozone to see what code it was and the scanner spat back 1445. I just passed 71k miles. Any ideas on what things I should check before bringing it into somewhere? Thanks

I believe that trouble code is for an evaporative emissions problem.

There is a reflash available for your ECU which corrects a problem in the logic associated with P1445. This reflash also corrects about a half dozen other logic problems. Your Subaru dealer can apply this reflash while you wait. However, I can't guarantee that'll you'll never see a P1445 after the reflash.

Yeah, I saw his post, I was hoping someone might have some advice on how to go about fixing this, ease/aprox cost, etc.

Nevermind though, I got a better answer in my regional forum on a related post.

Thanks!

that year had air assist injectors to improve emissions, there is a solenoid that directs air flow to the back side of the fuel injectors. Most likely have a problem with it.

The dealer just pulled this code on my car - however they checked the air-assist solenoid and claim it's in good working order. Possibly the valve was temporarily stuck?
