Default 60k checkup

so I called the stealership to find out their cost of the 60k mile maintenance. It was only $600!! so how many of you guys went this route or did the work yourself. If you did it yourself did you change the brake fluid, I can do everything else or through friends.

I am very mechanically inclined since my true introduction to the boxer motor was having to replace my 2.5 DOHC in my 97 LGT. I did all the work myself except the resurfacing of the flywheel.

Besides a regular oil/filter changes (every 2,500k miles) and replacing an air filter every 30K, my 60K tuneup consisted of changing spark plugs at close to 70,000 miles....45$ tune-up.

Yeah, I think that's about what it is for my dealership here too, but they do a lot of stuff you don't really need done. I got a sheet from mine that says all the different stuff they do for their maintenance intervals. The big one for 60k was a timing belt replacement. Going by the book it needs to be inspected but not replaced for sure until 105k.

Ok actually checked my old thread. $788 for all the stuff they do.
