i just found another small issue that needs tending to before it runs. i need a catch can b/c i got 4 hoses that don't need to be routed back into the intake...catch can needs a custom bracket for mounting, grrr.

update:

other than the issues at hand which i think is either my coil pack or ecu, this is basically finished. notice the catch can on the right and the coolant reservoir on the left which are the two things that were last to go on.

How did you end up routing the IACV hose? This last pic shows it running right over the hot side of the turbo so I'm guessing that's temporary.

I've got a 20k in process of rebuild and I'm trying to see if I can run the IACV feed under the intake manifold and attach it to dump valve return. That way I don't have to get the v3/4 specific samco silicone inlet.

You'll still need that specific inlet hose because of the power-steering reservoir. It's possible to shoehorn a newer model one in, but that reservoir will eventually cut it. (that's what happened to mine)

There's a bunch on ebay that are v4 specific and members here have said they're pretty good.

Anybody In this thread know why a friend of mines ej20k over heats after about 15 minutes of cruising? It's only got about 28 thousand miles at this point so any info would be great!! Thanks guy!
